Ricky Cunningham had no business being anywhere near a library. Of course, had he actually known it was a real library then he probably wouldn't have gone at all! He had always heard people his age - especially those who were still students - say they were going to be spending all day or all night in the library, and he had always assumed it was some bar. And on a boring night, he decided to check out this bar only to find it was some stupid building for smart people to read books in.

Who the ******** wants ********' waste of a night," he said, kicking the building. He couldn't believe he wasted his energy walking all the way to this godforsaken location full of books. What the hell were books for anyways? He groaned as he powered up to Troy Page of Chronos. At least in this form he could get home with a bit more ease.

Unfortunately, however, his power signature must have caught the attention of some danger lurking by...as just moments later, a creature leapt out of the darkness and tackled him, tossing him fifteen feet through the air before landing on the cement with a skid and one hell of a yelp for help.

"You mother ********!" he screamed from the ground as the youma charged toward him.

"I'm fine, I'm fine," Troy grumbled as he picked himself off the ground. He probably could have gone with more haste, but mostly he was too annoyed to be speedy and quick. He had fought youma before, sure, but this one startled the crap out of him in a way others haven't since he was just a civilian, confused Ricky in the Surrounding. "And er, thanks, I reckon."

Then again, a thanks may not be due yet - the youma was still up and breathing. Troy cracked his neck and knuckles as he got into a fighting stance.

"Let's waste this ********, right?" he suggested.
