Considering that there are multiple buildings that make up the school, there are multiple rooftops. The largest of all the rooftops is where the math and science buildings are because they are the only two that are completely connected sections rather than just the bridges. Its also wide and long enough for many students run about, however one must be careful with the amount of obstacles such as air conditioners and pipes that can cause serious harm. Each of the rooftops can be accessed by the elevators or the stairs, although a key that a faculty or staff have must be used to get there. Access to the rooftops is only allowed during the lunch hours, though some students find other ways to get to the roof

Aoiafter unlocking the door via some very handy small pieces of metal she always had with her she rushes out puling Asuna with her and shuts the door locking it from the outside so no one would disturb them and she breaths out dropping her load of junk food on top of her bag she looks over at her one true friend giggling"wanna have a picnic?"is all she says before sitting down next to her stuff in criss cross as she picks up her small bottle of juice opening it and holding it out to you. when ever Aoi had the chance to hang out with Asuna she jumped at it, ever since they met in central park last fall they clicked, they both loved guitar and the rest just followed and she became like a second sister to Aoi. as she sits catching her breath she looks over the roof to see if the fire department had dealt with eh fire she saw during class, nope its still burning down. "huh is our fire department on holiday or something?" she asks Asuna her being the smarter of the two the fire that earlier she had no interest in now made her curious

"I wonder... oh well, I'm sure they'll come soon~" I really didn't want to skip class, but seriously, they was gummy worms! And fruity snacks! I quickly took the bottle and took a small sip. I lifted one of the bag, this particular one full of gummy worms up and opened it with a small rip. I giggled happily as I tasted the fruity goodness in my mouth. When I thought of Aoi, she was always like the big playful sister. She really was the best friend anyone could ever have! I laid my stomach down on the concrete and pushed my hair out from under me. Shesmiles over at her and leans over biting down on the gummy and nibbling your fingers before letting go and giggling at you and picking up a small bag of very salty potato chips and pulling them open and puts the edge in her mouth before pulling it in to her mouth in small sections with small crunches before looking over at Asuna her hair rubbing on the concrete as she moves her head back"your birthdays coming up soon right?"she asks putting yet another chip in her mouth before making, what it apears to you, an upside down pouty face"I swear if i missed it I'm changing your birthday I dont care" she says and and opens up a Ramune and pouring it in her mouth making her choke and sit up coughing and hitting her chest trying not to dieshe says when she can breath properly again and in the silence of their bags crumpling and her ragged breathing she hears what sounds like an explosion and cop sirens and she stands up walking over to the side of the roof facing the town and putts her hands on the fence and her eyes widen at what she sees, she doesn't speak for two reasons, 1 she doesn't know what to say and 2 because all she sees is fires and smoke, when she regains her voice"what the ******** is happening....a gang?...."she asks to no one in particular simply hopping for someone to have an answer.

I heard the explosion and I'm pretty sure my body jumped at least a foot off the ground. This was a peaceful town wasn't it? What could be going on?! I quickly get up and ran after you, almost tripping over your bag. How could that fire cause this? I looked over the edge to see the damage and my breath caught in my throat. Aoigoes completely silent while scanning the areas trying to locate the place that me and my sister live and start making up when i see small flames all around it and turn on my heels and open up my bag taking out my phone and dial the shop begging someone will pick up "pick up pick up pick up pick up"i say like a mantra begging that its heard through the other line*beep, beep, beep we're sorry the number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable please hang up and try again* i feel my heart stop and i quickly redial, *beep, beep, beep we're sorry the number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable please hang up and try again*and i drop my phone and pick up my bag and dig though it pulling out a long weighted chain and a hook that connects to my skirt loop and puts the chain there and puts my bag on my back and look down at her hands as they shake and she fists them and looks back over at the smoke and walks over to Asuna"we have to go now!"she says looking Asuna straight in the eye showing that the only thing her heart is telling her is to run to find her only family, and normally she would have but now your part of that family too and she knows she cant leave you either. her head races with what too do with possibilities of whats going on she never watches TV so she doesn't know if its national local or what the hell it is in the first place, she scared for the first time in her life she is truly terrified its all she can do to not shake and cry.

I knew that she was calling her sister because she was the only one important to Aoi. "Aoi...?" I asked as I saw you dig a long chain out of your bag, did Aoi always carry that chain...? Aoi walked over to me and said, "We have to go now!" I knew in that moment that she was really scared, I couldn't stop her from worrying... "L-Let's go!" I grabbed onto your hand as another explosion blasted at my ear drums. I didn't know anything of what was going on, but we HAD to go find Aoi's sister. Mom... I didn't want to even think of what was happening with her, oh wait! She's at work, she's gotta be out of range of the fire! Aoishe breaths out with calming down slightly and gives you a weak smile before holding your hand and walking over to the door and unlocking it before walking out leaving the snacks on the roof opening the door and walking out and proceeding down stairs my mind racing 'what about everyone else at the school, what about everyone in town, does anyone else know this is happening, we should go too the PA system we have to tell everyone that something is happening!'she finally decides and suddenly breaths and is filled with composure with a goal in mind. and she started running again. {exit to hallways}
The door burst open and out ran Yang onto the rooftops. Behind him he quickly shut the rooftop door. They hadn't followed him up here thankfully, still too many fresh bodies to enjoy in the school. They didn't even seem to notice him as he traveled the hallways so long as he remained silent. He had come up here for a better vantage point, maybe a way out. The rooftop was built like a traditional Japanese school, the water tower above the rest and the perfect place to look.
Clambering up the later to the top of the water tower on the higher section of the roof he looked down onto the school's grounds to see the chaos unfolding. Deadened bodies awkwardly shuffling about in search of their next victim. Bleeding mouths kneeling over an open carcass as they ripped fleshed from the bowels of ones they surely once called friends and mentors. The sight was enough to make Yang gag and vomit over the side of the tower.
After recovering himself he tried to focus in on his original goal. He needed to find a way out. Some path to get away. It was then he spotted it. A clear path through the decay, but it would surely fill if they stepped out. He needed a vehicle, and the school bus would be perfect, but first he'd have to get to the teacher's lounge for the keys then from there to the bus, and past that he'd also have to find someone to drive it. He needed a plan.
((one hello there XP 2 i think the school is a mix of Japanese and american mostly likely the cause of miscalculation 3 funny think Akimi, Aoi's sister, and my other character have both a van and a bus that have been hot wired and ready to drive at any time, and if my plan goes correctly to the side of the roof with the parking lot a flare will pop out of no where to get any students to find there way other there and that is all, you also don't need to quote me i try to keep up and read all post simple to know whats happening at all times))
