I've got some pretty high expectations for that thing.
I will get wireless selling/buying, I will get towns with up to 30 people in them at once, and I will be able to break into someones house. xd

dsprox Quote: Animal Crossing DS will be released late this year after Nintendo plans to activate the DS's WiFi abilities.....Players will be able to connect globally and locally and the best part is that it's Free! "As one of several Wi-Fi games, Nintendos in-house development team is creating a new Animal Crossing game for global Wi-Fi play." says Nintendo President Iwata And if your a Nintendo Fanboy Nintendo President Iwata also annouced that Nintendo's next console codenamed "Revolution" will also have WiFi ability so that players can connect from across the globe...I Nintendo there we are, didn't want any repeat threads Quote: GDC 2005: Animal Crossing Impressions Finally. Online play. That's the ticket. by Craig Harris March 10, 2005 - To highlight Nintendo's commitment to taking the Nintendo DS online using the system's WiFi capabilities, Satoru Iwata dedicated a few minutes during his keynote speech at the Game Developers Conference to Animal Crossing and the revelation that the upcoming DS game will be online compatible. During this portion of the speech, Iwata showed a brief bit from the Nintendo DS version of Animal Crossing that showed off the direction the handheld sequel is currently heading. The footage on-screen showed off an engine that was slightly reminiscent of the GameCube classic. The presentation, however, has been entirely revamped for the Nintendo DS. Instead of a basic scrolling engine as experienced on the GameCube, the Nintendo DS version will have a much more "rounded" environment to give the game a much more "spherical" look as if players were walking on a small planet. The action constantly switched from the lower screen to higher screen to take advantage of the touch-screen elements of the Nintendo DS. When players need to use the inventory or chat typewriter, the action screen slides upwards to make room for the touch-screen interface. The footage also showed that the DS game will add much more customization to the Animal Crossing idea. Players are no longer stuck with the hat given to them at the start of the game, as demonstrated by the quick video clip -- players can swap out for a Mario cap or a sombrero, for example. Of course, the big deal is that Animal Crossing will feature WiFi connectivity. Though Iwata was very vague in how this game will utilize this function, we expect that players will be able to visit other Animal Crossing players on their systems no matter where they are in the world...just as long as the players are in a compatible wireless hotspot. Chatting via the on-screen keyboard is expected, as is item trading through the use of this wireless function. We'll have more on Animal Crossing and its online functionality as we get closer to the Electronic Entertainment Expo, scheduled for this May. Click on the media link to check out the Game Developers Conference footage. this is gonna be so cool!!!!!! xd xd xd xd
