AC's fishing is not annoying like Gaia's. Sure you can play it multiplayer but the controls are nothing to get exited about. With AC you can sell fish for lots more gold too. wink

AC:WW has a better variety of fish & you don't have to upgrade your fishing rod just to catch the more rare fish.

ACWW fishing is a lot easier in my opinion. Plus there's lots of different fish. Well, more than gaia anyway...

Harvest Moon fishing for the win! XDD
Actually, I don't like both Gaia and AC's fishing systems. Gaia's fishing system is more realistic in its motions, but it's hard for me to work because I apparently don't have an idea of my wrist strength. AC's easier to handle and more interesting when you DO catch the fish, but involves a lot of running and searching (first you need to find a fish, then when you use the rod you have to be careful the line doesn't reach its end or the bait will go underwater, which means you need to figure out how to use the water current).
I just want to stick the bait in the water and have the fish bite!
