Is for all the messages we need to get across, for one. The reason why the main forum isn't being used anymore for this is because the top was getting cluttered with stickies and announcements. There will be one announcement on the front page at all times that will be updated when a new announcement has been made in here. Otherwise there will only be a few, if any once this starts getting used.
The other purpose is for stuff that directly involves the guild. Like the apply for a mod postion, the introduce yourself, andany stuff that involves a change in the guild. The banners have been moved here along with a discussion thread for the guild.
