The pale young woman kneeled at the alter, blood stained hands clasped together in a failed attempt to keep them from trembling. She attempting to say the Hail Mary, but only the last sentence came to mind...
"Now and at the hour of our death," she whispered, and her trembling grew as the word death escaped her quivering lips. She licked her lips, and winced when she tasted the same blood there that was coating her body.
"Now and at the hour of our death..." She wanted to finish the prayer, she really did, but the words wouldn't come... just that one line echoed throughout the empty cathedral, throughout her mind:
Now and at the hour of our death, at the hour of our death... For Whoever Doesn't Know the Hail Mary Wrote Hail Mary, Full of Grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou amongst women, And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, Pray for our sinners, Now and at the hour of our death. (Amen.)

i'm not Catholic.
is this supposed to be a story of some kind?
because i don't get it.

That's why I included the Hail Mary... rolleyes Cause I know some people aren't Catholic or anywhere close and don't know it... yes it is a lame little part of a story I'm working on. I know it's not any good but it came to me during Religious Ed. and I figured eh, why not?

Sounds interesting. I would like to read more.
But I do believe it's "pray for US sinners" instead of "our sinners".
I grew up Catholic. Represent yo! biggrin

I think it sounds very good...you should post more when you get it done I'd love to hear it! *is a writer herself* 3nodding
I believe in always keeping religious bias out of stories, art, ect (aka I don't go "this sucks" just because it isn't what I believe in) I only critique, and compliment based on skill, creativity, originality, ect.
