Please Read!
we now have a subforum devoted to prayer requests! In order to access this subforum, look at the small box above the main topic box, and you will see a link that says "Prayer Requests". You can now post a thread in there with all your problems, and prayer requests, you can update as you please, and discuss what's on your mind.

Erm.. Yeah.. I just thought I'd keep a list here of all the prayer requests... Yeah.. so go ahead and post if you have any.

General

-For anyone of us who may feel sorrow or discouragement
-Everyone who is suffering and does not know christ
-Our brothers and sisters in the East who are suffering from the terrorist attacks

-For hey family and friends: Her friend Kay. to be more nicer to G and for her hatred to him to dissapear *go away completely*, same for mari., her grandmother's salvation and health *she was in a car accident a few weeks ago*, blessings over her family....

Cool.

okay...*thinks* my roomate who's muslim, just, generally all people who are suffering and don't know Christ.

People who deny Christ and harden their hearts, pray that God breaks the hard shell over their hearts and opens their eyes.

Our brothers and sisters in the East who are suffering terrible persecution. The familes who lost loved ones after that terrorist attack at that school in Beslan, Russia. The Russian Christians asked for prayers from their American brothers so let's deliver!

For anyone of us who may feel sorrow or discouragement, just pray that God pours out His Grace on them, gives them joy and peace and renewed strength and faith to FIGHT the good fight. To be on FIRE for him, not lukewarm. If there are any old sins and temptations haunting them, let God break that shackle and set them free. Flee from temptation, that permiscuous lifestyle, that drug, that music or movie.

And myself, that God always keeps me humble. surprised

They took a real blow from hurricane Jeanne...

I pray God pours out is Spirit on the Hatian Church, gives them strength and preserves their passion and faith.

Can you pray for me please? i'm struggling to keep up this semester with all the things I'm in and doing and yeah... so i'm falling behind so much that it's overwhelming.

Yeah.. I added a poll because I'm not sure how to organize the list to make sure everyone gets prayed for.. meh.. any suggestions would be good.. I know there was an idea in the COT to have prayer groups that pray for certain people.. *shrugs*

Crap. Crap. Oh, Crap. A friend of mine in another Guild asked me how I was doing in my classes, and what was due next, on thursday, as I had thought, but idiot me, I didn't know. So, I just barely looked at the Syllabus, and to my chagrin, I just found out that the MidTerm exam in BOTH AUTO Classes is next tuesday, the 12th. I am SO SCREWED. So pray for me, as that's possibly my only hope. We are already 150 mind numbing pages in both Classroom Manuals, and I also have to Study the Shop Manuals, up to Chapter 7, which is twice as much. For both Classes. Yay.

-Heavenly Father,

I pray for Neko-Chan and her struggle in balancing out her time in life activities. You know where she should be focusing Lord, and you know what it is she needs to do in order to succeed as a person and in your eyes. Grant her the wisdom and grace to know where each of her priorities lie, and grant her the will to take on those priorities in the order she needs to focus them in. Guide her Lord, as a shepard guides his flock, and be with her through her time of struggle and always.

I also pray for Brian Lord. I pray that you pour your strength down apon him, and give him the endurance to see through his studies. His will be a trial of focus and concentration Lord, and I pray you give him peace of mind, and spread your loving grace over him that he might overcome the obsitcles of his forthcoming tests and pass with flying colors. In you Lord, ALL things are possible, and I pray that you comfort Brian, and be with him as he studies for the material he needs, and bless him with an accute recollection of all he studies for.

I also lift up Tazi's requests to you Lord. You know each of your children's hearts, and I pray that you pour over her room mate your agape love, and let her feel the warmth of your grace, that she may open her heart to you and want to know you more.

You also know the needs of the people East of us, and the needs of the troops we send there. Shelter your people from the harms of those that desire only wicked power and strife to your children Lord. Protect them with your angels, may they be sheilded by your grace.

And for those of us whom feel discouragement, I pray you lift us up Lord, and wrap us in your warmth and grace. Robe us in your garments and empower us Lord, may we find the will to continue your work.

You are an awesome God, worthy of all the praise and honor that we pour from our hearts Lord. I give you all of the praise and glory and honor and love, and know that you are with us always. I thank you Lord, and have faith that you will see things through always. In your precious name I pray...

And my prayers are always with the Body of Christ. Sure there are times when we are just tired of this old world, and the battle seems uphill; but just remember that we are already on the winning side, these are just the last days when the enemy becomes desperate and roars the loudest, but the Lion of Judea, Jesus, roars back ten times louder!

In Psalms, David writes to cast your burdens on the Lord and He will sustain you. "You will run but not be weary". wink

Now as for homework situations, I completely empathize... but a lot of the prioritizing needs to be done on our part. xp Yes, I know. I am guitly of not keeping up with my syllabus >_

hey everyone...my request is in the same vein as Takai's.....I have to completely learn three weeks of french by tuesday....and I have to learn how to conjugate verbs....and that's just one class (I take six, two college, three high school, and one zero hour no credit class). I would love it if you all would pray that I can find time in the day not only for schoolwork, but for daily bible reading, and for sleep. I really value the bible......sleep is over-rated.....but it is nice....thanks guys.

I would like you guys to pray for my churuch since one of the members of our church died last weekend in the Philippines and she was a very beloved person. She was a loving and beautiful person and in memory of her I thank her for being such a good role model, mother, and friend to our family and church. Our youth group in our church has really been dragging and lagging and our vision and togetherness has not been what I think Gods will is.

You may have heard about the soldier who was killed last week? Well that was a cousin of my friend. Pray for her and her family.
Also pray for a woman who is on artificial breathing and other machines to stay alive for she doesn'y know the Lord... Thank you.

well....my prayer request can be updated....I'm pretty sure everything in my previous request can be voided....So, new request:

That my car lives! I had to use a jumper box to start it three times today, and I really would like that the new battery is the end of the problems Barney and I are having.

That my concert goes well. My choir concert is --eeep--monday. much prayer, please.

That my dad will come to recognize that since I not only don't have the same goals in life as he does, but I am also not near as book smart as he is and/or was I my age, what he could do and what I could do are very different things. I would also pray that he would come to see that there is meaning in my going to church for me, and my "kick" about wanting to be a pastor is not a kick, but a serious decision in the course and direction of my life.

That my friends would recognize what evil they are inviting into their life through wicca.....it is not cool, it's not a harmless hobby, and it is not the way to connect with a greater power. It is dangerous and demonic, and that's the truth.
