Lesson one: ActionsFor RP actionsm use these symbols: *, ^, ,(,[,{,-,~ . Just place one at the beining of an action, and one at the very end. When using Quotation marks, ( "") you just reverse it. Speaking will be inside and everything else outside. It makes it take a little longer, but it makes it easier to make a lot of actions with god moding.

Capcom Queen Not force. Encourage. This guild will not be made into a nazi grammar rping guild. It's for ANY kind of rping llevel and as long as we can understand what you are typing, then it's fine. Lesson one: Using your keyboard keys and what english classes have taught you. For RP actionsm use these symbols: *, ^, ,(,[,{,-,~ These all work fine or you can use the "" for story book rping. people also use :: <-- that.... but yeah... this would me nice. That way we can tell when you are doing an action and speaking.

Lesson 2: Please, USE COMMAS!!
I have noticed that a lot of us don't use them much... And although we aren't grammar nazis like we explained, If we can't understand crap of your typing, then better start using propper english or go to your english teacher to get some help. Also, using "U" instead of 'You' is ok IF you don't shorten words too much. We don't do l33tt or cheap txt talk here. Like I said: You do not need proper grammar IF WE CAN UNDERSTAND YOU.
~Talk to your English teachers. ~Read a dictionary for help. ~Practice writing!

Lesson 3: NO GOD MODING!!!
We have several problems on that. From slight little extra hits and from instant KO or even overpowering your character. NOT GOOD!! You can practice Rping by rp sparring with someone or make your own sparring thread. Ask someone with more experience on RPing to keep track of you as well and tell you if you're overpowering or not! here are some tips...
~Don't overpower your character. Keep your character true and have powerful abilities used on occasion rather than regularly. Try balancing your characters powers with weaknesses.
~Attacks have to make sense! Use logical poses and attacks that aren't superhuman (And even if you are, give yourself some weaknesses or downfalls to your character).
~Character Stats. If you want to make your character make sense, look up information on what kind of class and race your character wants to be! Then create your own special characteristics, strengths and weaknessess!

Note on Characters: Mutliclass!!
If you have more than one thing that you are, for example: An Assasin and a Mage, You can only use half of your abilities. With an assasin, they are stealthy, quick at killing and quiet. Can't be seen, right? While a Mage would like to make a big entrance and cast fireballs at everyone from far away! You can say that you're stealthy, but not strong physically, and your magic is accurate, but a little weak or you can't use many high level magic spells. Think of it sort of like that.
Dungeons and Dragons REALLY helps when it comes to classes. If you find any of the books in bookstores, check them out and do a little research! I'll put up some links here too!

Hey...I thought of something and Decided to make my lazy a** post it Keep things as Realistic as Possible...After that Fine Demonstration in the Harbinger I'd just Like to bring something up If You make a heavy movement such as swinging a two handed sword or perhaps Dual wielding swinging at two targets at once on either side of you...You're bound to be left open and can be counter attacked fight with your mind more than your might and you'll come out Victorious Prime Example: Let's Say Cpt. Ai Swings downards with a Lumberjack Swing Downwards with her Two Handed Broad sword against a quick opponent such as Maruna or Rini or someone If They want to Quickly Damage her as they sidestep the Heavy blow they can Slice her with no Problem or be fancy and stand on her blade to slice at her but She Cannot Within Reasonable Physics Swing With all of her might Downwards and Suddenly have her blade up to block I understand our Characters have Extraordinary powers but Even they are limited by Physics...Otherwise there is no way for them to exist...
well any ways that's my Level 2 Rant spell for the Day and the Moral of it is
Think Realistically...

I may have to use a long blade instead... You just reminded me that my character may have plenty of strength over all but still, a broadsword is heavy...

Side note on Battle RPing:
~AUTO-HITS~
An auto hit is when you attack twice in different posts and don't let your opponent go when it should be his/her turn.
Example:
P-1: *hits you with hilt on your head* P-2: *dodges and swings at you* P-2:*swings sword around and slams it on you* P-1:*dodges first hit* **Can't do nothing about second hit**
It's unfair to post twice if you didn't let your parnter go next and its around the lines of God Moding or a form of it. So please watch out for that.

It's also unfair for one to Teleport unless they're a mage or Spellcaster of sorts This one is aimed towards two specific People Amra and Riku Call me an a** for mentioning names but It gets rather annoying when someone goes to hit you and you "Poof" away or you disappear only to reappear behind your opponent... The only reason Spellcasters and Mages can do it is because most mages...Can't really fight up close y'dig? neutral

More about Multiclassing:
-- I've brought this up before but I'd like to clarify. Here is an example of multiclassing with a bio--
Class: half rouge, half ninja.
Sometimes in order to be two classes, you need to make sense of it, create a bio about how you are two classes at once and make sense out of it. Ex. Mother was a rouge raised in poverty, resorted to killing and stealing. Father was ninja due to his clan raising him in shinobi ways.
Next, you must make sure to keep your skills as both classes cut to half way. Put simply for those who play RPGs, mostly Final Fantasy: The Red mage class can only learn up to Lv.2 spells due to them both knowing white AND black magic. You can try to be a jack of all trades, but specialize in something you like. Try not to make your character too well rounded for it will be much more difficult to know your skills, strengths and weaknesses.
Make sure to have special traits of your own added into the mix, Ex: Since Ai is half Pirate/Ninja, she can use moderate techs and skills but her special abilities due to what she is (can be due to race, birthday, special traits that you were born with) rage ability is a special ability that gives her twice the strength that she has, her constitution (health or number of hits she can take) goes up as much but she becomes fatigued after a while, her strength nearly depleted and she may pass out due to it.
If you need anymore help on this, please PM me!

~When Playing a Mage or Spell Casting Character!~
1. Give a short detail about the spell you are casting 2. If its a strong spell or one that can do decent ammount of damage, it will take one turn to cast and on your next turn (turn=post), your spell will come in effect. 3.When casting a sort of protective barrier (i.e. think of Final Fantasy magic like Shell ((protects against magic or lessens the effect/damage of it)) or Protect ((Decreases or protects against physical attacks))) depending if you want it to protect you completley from physical attacks or half the damage/lessen, you will STILL need to put your Duration of Spell time. Duration of Spell is the term we use for how long the spell will last for. Example: I cast Magic Missle and it hits you. That spell does not need time to cast since its a weak spell unless you amplify the spell with some other magic or a Maximize Spell specialty. Casting Flaming Sphere NEEDS a duration time and a little concentration, so you will have to make a decent time for how long it will last. We can say it lasts 5 posts for the character who is casting the spell, a stronger spell would need 10 posts but if 10 posts are made by other people, then it counts as your own. Some spells that are very powerful (if you happen to be a decent Mage) can only last for 3 posts from Any (or both Rpiers if you're in an RP fight) since it won't make a spell caster have God Moding powers.
When casting a protective barrier around yourself, please specify if you will have it be full protection (No kind of physical hits ((like protect)) can get through your barrier at all) or if you will have Half-Protection (lessens or halves physical damage, reduces). Here are the differences and rules for barriers: ~Full Prost- You will have full protection with your barrier, you can still move but you cannot cast very powerful spells, and your barrier only lasts for 3 posts only from yourself. You can begin to cast a spell on your last barrier turn and then attack.
Half Prost~ You will still take damage but only half of it or it lessens the damage. It will last for 6 posts of the Spell caster. You are still able to move.
Armor: Mages are Magical, not physical unless your character turns out to be both or better at one than the other. You may not be able to take too many hits but there are ways to raise your defense, be it spells or you train to wear armor.
Teleportation: A Mage that has the ability to teleport may use it freely as long as he/she is not in a battle. Ex. If someone is about to hit you or attempts to hit you, you can use your teleportation once to avoid it, but you will not be able to use it for at least 10 posts; basically giving it a cool-down.
When it comes to Cage or Immobility spells... : The same rule applies to it like the Strog Spell rule, it can not last for too long, 4-5 posts for it to be a very strong trap spell or 5-7 for a weak spell. Anyone can attempt to get out of the cage if they happen to know a spell or a special ability that your character has to avoid or repel the spell. You can also roll a D-20 (in the Dice/post options, choose 1-20, 20 sided die) and if you get higher than a 8, then you will succeed at breaking or avoiding the spell.
Any edits will be welcomed!

Suggestions:Full protection should Be A Move that Keep you Standing Still holding the Barrier up It can last as Long as you can aka If someone Somehow Does something to Distract your Attention or Concentration Aka constantly Hitting the Barrier causing Soundwaves to Pulsate through it constantly Half protection:you can move around with it Just not Attack or do anything Offensive lasts * amount of turns Min. Protection:Can only take about three Hard hits Before Failing All actions can be taken
