Hehe. This's a long series, so back to Anthrax's normal review format!
Title: Full Metal Panic TV; Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu!; Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid
Series Length: FMP TV: 26 episodes; Fumoffu!: 13 episodes; TSR: 13 episodes + 1 OVA
Age Group: Teens. Little objectional content, except for the OVA in TSR. However, it does contain quite a lot of violence.
Summary: 17-year-old Sagara Sousuke has no idea what it is to live a normal life (or even live in Japan, for that matter!). All that he's ever known is the military. He began as a guerrilla fighter in Helmajistan, and continued as a mercenary for the organization known as Mithril.
However, when the time comes for him to protect a Japanese girl named Kaname Chidori, he has to learn how to live that normal life, or how to at least seem to live it.
So the entire show focuses about Sousuke attempting to protect her and doing dumb things like pulling a gun in a fistfight, blowing up his locker because there's a love letter in it, things like that.
Rating: I'd say an 8/10. It was interesting, but at parts it didn't flow. It could go from a scene where everyone's dying, to a scene where Sousuke's trying to figure out what flirting is. And though the AS's were realistic-ized with their fatness, they had emotion-powered uber-weapons, detracting from the reality of it all.
