20/F/Texas, USA. my real name is Erin. eternally engaged (to Kenji), because weddings are expensive and I am scared of commitment.

I am 5'10" with dark brown slightly wavy hair and brownish-green eyes, and I wear glasses. I like the same things most people like - anime, good food, pleasant company, tea, art, sex, music, history, genealogy, video games. I am an occassional Ren Faire goer, and a bit of a weapons/armor buff. I am Jewish, by whatever definition you follow. half-Jewish if you subscribe to the ethnicity thing, Reconstructionist if you're talking about sects (*must resist bad pun...*) my dad's side of the family is Welsh, my mom's is Russian and French.

as a child I was diagnosed with gender dysphoria. this didn't make sense to me until I got older, and noticed how I carried myself much differently than my peers. nowadays I and dress and present myself as male (within reason). I consider myself a 'transgender' or 'intergender' or even 'genderqueer' individual. not sure what the vogue terminology is now.

in high school I was in Academic Decathlon (varsity captain, 28 medals total, and yes I am patting my own back, my back is awesome and worth patting), debate, extemporaneous speaking, and I played French horn in marching/concert band, which was some of the most rewarding time in my life. also I played soccer until I was 15, and I was big into taekwondo. I am a comedy nerd, by which I mean I love comedy and comedians. I wanted to do stand-up for a long time when I was a kid, actually. I was tragically held back by my crippling inability to be funny.

I have a habit of forming deep and ridiculous crushes. my longest running one is on Jon Stewart, who has been a personal hero since I was 13.

I hate talking about myself and often push people away due to my sometimes-abrasive personality.

I play guitar, play games, dabble in anime/manga and have some knowledge of western comics. I hate watching TV and prefer to get complete series on DVD. My favourite music genre would be hard rock, metal, and j-rock. I'm Indonesian and proud of it despite the country having thousands of uneducated idiots, religious zealots and greedy assholes.

Finally, I'm taken and don't see myself ever cheating. 3nodding

I don't watch a lot of TV but favorite TV shows include Dead Like Me, Arrested Development, CSI in all forms but Miami, Criminal Minds, and Grey's Anatomy.

Hello all. I'm Nick, a.k.a Mickie J, although I have a plethora of other aliases such as ShockWavMk2, my XBL Gamertag Jolt Phoenix, MasterNik, my old Gaia username Crimson_Goddess, etc. etc. I'm probably the youngest of the bunch here, with 5 days till my 16th. I could say more, but I'm rather tired at the moment. Contrary to my avatar, I'm male. I do have an alt. account that has a male avy though. Some reason, I just like using this one more. I don't watch a whole lot of TV, mainly wrestling (yeah...) and Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. My interests include, but aren't limited to, the Internet, computers and computer programming, Magic: The Gathering, drawing, video games, sports, clothing, my PSP and the PSP homebrew scene, and music. I generally listen to all music, as long as it's not country or most classical pieces, although I will listen to some of the newer styles of "hybrid" country songs, that take from other genres.

In my spare time, I'm either on the net, on Gaia, watching TV, playing video games, chillin' with friends, or working on a this concept for a game I have.

I live in Tallahassee and go to FSU, major in Biology with a double minor in Criminology and IT.

I spend time on Gaia, with my girlfriend as much as a humanly can, playing WoW and attending classes/working.

My favorite TV shows are 24, LOST, Heroes, Jericho, CSI, and the entire whole of Adult Swim.

Favorite bands? Name one, I probably like it.

Favorite movies are The Rocky series, the Terminator series, the Matrix trilogy, The Hills Have Eyes, War of the Worlds, Titan A.E., Alladin, The Lion King, The Rock, Saving Private Ryan, How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days, Windtalkers, K-Pax, Spiderman, X-Men, Signs, Austin Powers, American History X, Pirates of the Carribean trilogy, Cinderella Man, Shrek, Over the Hedge, Children of Men, Snakes On A Plane, Miami Vice, and many more...I like war movies, action movies, suspense, drama, and sometimes a romantic or chickish movie...as long as its meaningful and not full of makeup and shoes and rants.

I like books alot. Favorite authors: King, Crichton, Patterson, Demile, Koontz, Rowling, Lehane, Hornby, Applegate, Coben Stine. Ive read over 500 books in my lifetime and that number rises weekly. Memorable books include any scifi series by Applegate, The Taking, Cell, The Stand, Of Mice and Men, Tell No One, Mystic River, The Taking, etc.
