Because no one else had made it, and it needed to be made. DISCUSS.

kaophyre I actually haven't seen anything but the first episode. YoI think it's pretty good. The Silar plotline and the New York explodes plotline look like they're going to be hard to keep in continuity. Writers seem to have mistaken this, but giant world-ending threats are hard to resolve reasonably.

The stupid thing about NBC.com is that they pulled all the older episodes from their streaming thing, only having episode one, and episode 15-now.
How stupid is that? Why even have episode one at this point?
I'd save myself the trouble and just bittorrent it (which is what I'm having to do now, grr).
I like what I've seen so far (up to episode 6, plus saw the recent future episode at a friends house), but my main complaint is with the suspension of disbelief with the characters.

Ultimately, my only problems with it are in relation to how good parts of it are.
It's so strong in so many areas, and yet it falls flat in a few key areas that prevent it from being completely awesome.
I lovelovelove Matt Parkman, Bennett, and Peter.
However I completely dislike Sylar (felt his character was totally underdeveloped and a bit cliche, by the time they actually gave you some insight into him, it was too little to late, and I already hated him).
I for the most part, I enjoyed it, but the season finale was utterly anticlimactic.
