this Journal belongs to Keirro and Apollo.
As of this moment, no one is allowed to post until I get a hang of Journaling and layouts.

Meanwhile, enjoy this little tidbit:

Please do not steal my lovely Apollo.
Obey the rules of the guild and thread.

My pet fish are your gods.

Name: Apollo
Appearance: Not much to look at. It's a pretty orby thingy. So far it's just useful as a paperweight.
Personality: pratically non existant.

Guardian: Name: Keirro "Reia" Fisher
Race:Human
Occupation: Psychologist
Age:25
History:
Personality: Keirro has difficulty opening herself to anyone. Her profession requires a certain amount of distance from her patients, although she is able to pretend that she cares. Keirro hates being asked to perform "diagnosis" on strangers in casual environments. Keirro does find time to relax at the local tavern when she is not consumed by her work. Keirro adores her mother and often wires her mother money to help support her. Keirro likes to portray herself as a sophisticated, fashionable woman. She LOVES to shop. Nothing is more relaxing to her than a trip to downtown with a group of girlfriends. It is one of the few times that her friends get to see her let her hair down a little. Keirro's love life, however, is almost nil. She often intimidates men because of her degree.

Tick...tock...tick...tock

Keirro glared up at the clock. It had been a long day. Np patients, no rain for her garden, and no one to take her out to dinner tonight. The onlything eventful that happened was the package that arrived earlier that afternoon.

I can make your dreams come true

Like one man could ever achieve that. Still, the letter that was recieved with the package taunted her. It's words were challenging her to take the orb. It wanted her to admire its glow.

I have a gift for you. A very generous gift. It will grant you your heart's desire.

Keirro smiled cynically as she picked up the orb from its box. What would a silly crystal know about granting wishes? She placed the orb on a stand and walked to the kitchen to grab a snack. As she cooly walked away from the orb, she heard a clank. She quickly turned around to see that the orb was rolling to her feet.
Keirro sighed and placed the orb back onto the pedestal. She walked away again, only to find that the orb had once again rolled off of its pedestal. Keirro sigh and scooped up the orb to accompany her to the kitchen.

Keirro's newfound paperweight had, over the past few days, upgraded from uninteresting shiny ball to "My pet Rock". The orb had a knack for following its mistress everywhere. After several attempts to restrain the orb, Keirro had given up and allowed the crystal to chase her even into the yard.
Keirro's patients often stroked the orb for comfort when bringing back painful childhood memories. Many had even seemed determined to say it had a personality. Keirro reasoned that it was simply a case of man's tendency to personify inanimate objects. Although, the crystal did seem to enjoy the outdoors and music.
"So, Mysterious granter of wishes, perhaps I shall whisper my wish to you." Keirro said cyncially. She smiled at the orb and picked it up. Keirro reclined on the couch, noticing for the first time, that there seemed to be a faint warmth to the crystal. Eventually, Keirro relaxed and drifted to sleep.

First Rp Session!

Keirro had brought the orange orb, known as Apollo, to a local park. The idea of carrying a virtual paperwieght embarssed her, but she somehow felt compelled to take it out on a morning stroll.

"What am I to do with this? " she growled to herself as she sat on a park bench. THe orb glowed proudly, as if to say that it appreciated being outside the confines of Keirro's office. Keirro's steely eyes glared out to the horizon. Why was it always so damn cheery in the morning?

Aurora came skipping down through a grassy part of the park. She danced with her orb that was glowing brightly. " Wee you must love this place Luciel, i have never seen you so bright!"

Keirro noticed a another, more spritely, young woman carrying a brightly colored orb. Keirro watched the girl frolic like a pony in a meadow. Keirro sighed, knowing that she could never feel that good about mornings as that young woman obviously did.

The orb known as Apollo glowed brightly. Its excitement was easy to read.

Quote:
Aurora wrote
Aurora spied the the unenthusatic woman on the park bench and frowned a little. " What shame, such an unhappy face. I have an idea Luciel...lets go make her smile" Aurora said with a somewhat devious smile. She then leaped over to Keirro. Her skirt flowing through the breeze. Aroura looked like some sort airy sprite from a fairy book tale.

Keirro wanted to jump out of her skin when the strange girl ran up to her. Keirro restrained herself, however, and regained her composure. Her eyes scanned the stranger with the intent of finding any dangerous weapons that this person might wish to brandish against Keirro. Keirro did notice a right, glowing orb similar to her own.
"A paper weight enthusiast, I see. " Keirro said as she raised an eyebrow cooly.
Quote:
Aurora
" Paper weight, No no. This, this orb is no paper weight. Its a magical orb of goodness. It glows too, i think its some sort of odd egg or something like that. Maybe something will hatch out of it! Weee!"

"Oh, orb. Forgive me for sounding a little ignorant. It seems that orbs are the new fashion acessory these days. " Keirro said. She made no attempt to smile or even blink. She gave a cold, indifferent stare that she usually used on her patients when she was hired for the session.
The orb Keirro was keeping hidden suddenly made itself known. It rolled out into sight; its bright, orange glow pulsed with a beat that seemed as upbeat as the girl that Keirro was talking to.

Quote:
Aurora
" Well just look at you how assertive you. This one is going to be trouble I know it. You best keep this one under close watch, yes indeed. My little Luciel is not as asertive, but she is very very happy!"

The crystal seemed to realish the attention it was recieving and pulsed even more obnoxious shades of orange, pink and yellow.
"It is a funny toy. I find it amazing what technology can produce. I shall find this crystal useful for when my patients come to visit." said Keirro. Christ, that girl had named hers? Some people become too attached to material items these days. The girl probably had a mother complex. Typical case of giving the care one was denied in hopes that the object will love b- Oh god, why am I psychoanalyzing NOW? Christ I need to get out of my office. Keirro turned to the rising sun.
"Yours look different." Keirro said in an attempt to get her mind off of psychology.

Quote:
Aurora
" Duh, they are not all the same. Just like people. Oh how rude of me I have not introduced myself. Ha ha ha ha, My name is Aurora. Aurora Lightwing! Pleased to meet you!"

"Keirro Fisher, PhD. Do you know of others that have these?" Keirro asked as she raised an inquisitive eyebrow. She crandled the feisty, orange crystal in her arms either to seek comfort or keep it from fraternizing with the other orb, she wasn't sure.

Quote:
Aurora
" Not that i know of. ( gasp) What if the government gave us these orbs as this crazy test and we are just pawns in their evil games. It happenes...who knows what these orbs can do. Maybe they are space aliens or, or, or they are from another dimenison. Carried over by a stream of energy caused by a limianlity."

Keirro stood up and eyed the girl. Wasn't there a situation on Gaia involving invaders and an annoying man with a large jawline? Perhaps this paranoia had some merit.
"If they are, we can manipulate the creatures to our will. Intelligent beings must develop as we must." replied Keirro. She looked at the horizon. The pinks and oranges were starting to settle into the lue sky of daylight. Even Keirro's crystal was starting to become less flamboyant.

Quote:
Aurora
" Manlipulate...perhaps influence. that sounds less scary..." Aurora said tapping her fingers together nervously. She grined unsure of herself. " I was just ranting. I mean...how can any one take me seriously..not many do. I am just a crazy theatre student."

"If you prefer that. I wouldn't become too attached, least these things should lack a conscience. I should take my leave. Around this time, I usually start to tend to my garden." said Keirro. she gave a casual wave to the jittery girl and reached into her pocket.
"Should you require my services, here is my business card." she said as she handed a card to Aurora.

The Stirrings of Something Amazing

The orb had started to develop a habit of taking entertainment into its own hands. These were the times when Keirro was not around to keep its attention or annoy her with its constant, rebellious rolling. However, there was only so much an orb could spend its time doing. Often, it would remain bored out of its mind, but today was going to be different.
The neighbor's dog was rolling in the flowerbed again. Keirro would often rant about the neighbors and their pets' involvement with gardening. Today, the orb was going to do something about it.
It rolled out of an open window and hid itself in the tulips. The Rat Terrier was digging nearby. The dog noticed the orb and started to bark at it. The orb barked back. The dog whined but didn't budge. The orb launched an full attack, ramming into the pup's side.
The little rat terrier ran off, yelping, back to its owner's house while the orb sat with glowing bliss over its accomplishment.

Don't Throw the Orb out with the bath water!

Keirro had been looking at the orb discreetly. It seemed a little less brighter these days. Keirro picked the orb with her delicate fingers and looked over it while balancing the orb on her fingertips.
"You're filthy." she said.
The orb glowed even dimmer.
"I'll clean you up." Keirro replied. The orb glowed a little brighter. Now, how to clean this thing. Windex and a cloth would probably scratch the surface. Keirro remembered back to when her mother was cleaning fine crystal.
She used warm water and a fine cloth. Keirro thought to herself. She walked over to the kitchen with the orb in her arms and started to run warm water in the sink. She grabbed a clean, soft towel and placed the orb comfortably into the warm water.
It floated.
Keirro stared, dumbfounded, at the sight of a seemingly solid orb floating in bathwater. She had witnessed some strange sights before, but certainly this could be explained with some rationale. After all, this was a toy prototype and was probably made with a new material designed to look like glass. The orb glowed happily, turning a water orange-yelloe with its soft glow.
Keirro sighed and started to wipe the wet orb clean with a soft rag. Soon, the orb looked good as new and started to glow in obnoxious beats again.
It jumped out of her sink and rolled to the towel to get dry.
Keirro scooped up the towel with the orb in it and proceeded to dry it gently as she sat down on her couch and relaxed.

The Birth of Apollo

It began as a minor scratch. It was caused from within the orb and only proceeded to get larger as the day wore on. The crack formed splinters that looked like a silver delta snaking throughout the orb.
The orb's inner mist began to leek from the cracks but soon solidified into something delicate and lively. Ribbions that looked like the sun's rays rolled out from the mist and rested on the floor in Keirro's kitchen.
The ribbons became hands, eyes, and ears. Soon, the Dawn Neko known as Apollo, who was created to fulfill the wishes of its master, emerged from mists and ribbons.
"Ho snap! I can talk!" Apollo shouted.

Sooo....Whatcha Doin'?

Apollo had the attention span and intelligence of a jaybird. She was rather harmless, but she often got into mischief when boredom started to seep in.
It was a sunny day, and Apollo found her current settings less than desirable. The orange Neko crept throughout the livingroom, where she found Keirro hunched over her work.
The neko peered quietly over Keirro's shoulder to watch the psychologist write an invigorating summary about the cerebellum, whatever that was. Apollo flicked an ear and decided that the best course of action was to do what a cat would normally do when its master was hard at work.
Apollo streched and crawled onto Keirro's desk.
Keirro had been ignorant of Apollo's transformation from Orb into Undera up until this point. The psychologist screamed at the top of her lungs and fell over in her chair.
Apollo screamed in unison. Hey, this was kinda entertaining! Apollo then proceeded to flail her arms around as Keirro brought out a water spritzer and started to spray Apollo with the water.
"Ahhh! Crazy lady!" Apollo screamed.
"Bad Kitty! Down! Down!" screamed Keirro.
Apollo leaped off of the desk and dashed behind the couch.
"Who are you?" screamed Keirro.
"Who am I? You're the one sparying me with the water bottle! Explain yourself!" snapped Apollo.
"You're going to get spritzed again if you don't tell me why you're here!" growled Keirro.
"You don't reconize me?" replied Apollo.
"Can't say I do." said Keirro.
"I'm the orb, lady!" said Apollo as she held her former prison. It lost it's former glow, but retained its beautiful coloring.
"I was wondering what happened to it. " replied Keirro.
