In my World History class, we have to write an essay on nationalism in the world today. To help my case, I'm taking a survey on how the populace views it. If you could spare a moment to fill out this survey, it would be greatly apprieciated. Please be honest, as your answers will make a difference.

Location (in general is fine): USA, Florida


Do you know what nationalism is?: I think so, maybe.
If yes, what?: I think it is when you support your nations interests. (Maybe, even to the point where you put your nations interests above other nations.)

Do you consider yourself a nationalist? (Even if you don't know what it is): Not really.

Why or why not?: Well, I think that my country is great and I support the USA. But, I also think that all countries interests should be equal. The USA's safety and future shouldn't be put above that of another country, such as Iraq or India.

Can you give an example of current nationalism?: Not anything very current. Sorry, I hope that helped. sweatdrop

Location (in general is fine): Pennsylvania.
Do you know what nationalism is?: Yes.
If yes, what?: Basically when you take immense pride in your country and would do pretty much anything to advance its perceived greatness.
Do you consider yourself a nationalist? (Even if you don't know what it is): Not at all.
Why or why not?: Because I do not think America is all it's cracked up to be. I realise this is a great nation, but I think it's going down the tubes in a violent way, and if people don't step up and change (reeevoluuution) then... we're all pretty much f-cked. neutral
Can you give an example of current nationalism?: Pretty much what's going on in the Middle East. The Muslims are blowing themselves up because they think they need to purify their country from us and our allies. Death to the infidels and such.
