It's a small house with a few rooms and stone floors, but it is good enough. Zak's room is near mine and a good friend, Kallos, sometimes comes and visits. I am smaller than he is though. Kallos's room is draped in all sorts of blue fabric and lights. My room has a purple fabric on the bed, silver drapes on the window, and soft lavender painted walls. Zak's room is all greens and golds. Gold lights and candles light his room. The rest of the small house is an equal mix of all the colors. Silver drapes, a blue sofa, and golden lights and candles. The white marble floor is cleaned to show the reflections of those who walk upon it. Outside is a wooden porch that overlooks a small wood. It is the scene of tranquility. Everything is a burst of color, except for the extra rooms which are still white.

Warm hands touched the surface of the orb in which I slept. His bright maroon eyes looked into the glassy green surface in an attempt to see me clearly. I touched the orb where his hand was. A smile split his face.
"Zakarish," he sighed. I couldn't help but to smile too. I wasn't strong enough to come out of my orb.
"Zak, I think you are getting stronger. I can almost feel you," the human sighed. I laughed from inside my protection. This human said the funniest things sometimes. I don't think he heard me. I'm glad he didn't. It might of hurt his feelings. I stared deeply into his eyes with my own. I wanted out of here. I wanted to take his hand in mine and give him a proper greeting instead of just the weak wiggle I give him now. Suddenly, he pulled me close.
"I can't wait to see you. I just know you'll be strong. I just know I'll like you Zak. I'll protect you for now, until you decide to come out." The smile faded from my face. I didn't know what to feel at that point. He rolled me back onto the gold trimmed green pillow in the room that would be mine in the small house. He left me to bask in the sun from the small window in order to gain strength. I couldn't wait either for the day I would come out. The day I would protect him.

Kallos left to care for his own home. He said his goodbyes to me. I felt a sadness to see him go. The sun was setting. Nagisa rolled me a bit to the side and sat beside my glassy surface. "Kallos likes you," he stated. I nodded even though Nagisa could not see me. "I hope, you can see the sunset," the man said as if in a dream. I looked out the window. A swirl of reds and oranges dance through the clouds causing the white clouds to turn gold. A slash of pink inked its way through the mass. It was breathtaking. I gasped. "I know, isn't it?" Nagisa sighed. A tore my gaze from the heavens and back to him. Did he hear me? My newly forming heart thudded loudly against my ribs. "I can see you like this," Nagisa laughed, "because you just sparkled like a golden locket full of memories, but unable to open. I bet you want to be opened. Am I right?" I nodded again, content with this moment. Together, master and orb, we watched as the sunlight died in a burst of flame.
