RR sits quietly at her desk, her newest journal of blue leather with a simple fox outline stamped upon it cracked open to the first, she gently taps her pen against her lips as she things over the rather odd days she has just had and once more glances at the blue crystal ball she had carefully secured in a small wicker basket, a purple flannel sheet tucked around it to make it safe and secure then with a smile beings to write.

To say that today was an unusual day feels a bit feeble in description. But then again to say that any day on Gaia is usual feels unnatural as well. Thought I have no doubt a better exsplination is need as to what I mean to say.
My day started as it normally does. I awoke, Indulged my lovely behemoth of a cat Shang in some loving attention and assembled myself in proper order and started the day. The morning was normal, I tended to the laundry, cleaned the great den and made sure all the rooms were in proper order should a being arrive and be in need of lodging.
By early after noon all the in door chores were attended to so I made my way into the gardens surrounding the Foxes Den. I made my way up the the upper herb gardens and was doing a bit of weeding and collecting of a few certain ingredients I would be needing for a balm I am working on brewing for an client in discomfort. when all of the sudden, threw the clear blue sky a round object flies only to smack me up side the head. knocking me quiet silly for a time. Once I regained my bearings I began to look about for the offending object that had struck me so rudely.
finally to my surprise I found a rather beautiful crystal ball of the most beautiful blue I had ever seen. I carefully picked up the ball turning it this way and that as I inspected it for damage. It's seemed almost mesmerizing in it's loveliness as I looked upon it. As I looked upon it I was murmuring to myself, thinking on how odd it was that such a thing fell from the sky. well believe me it's all the more odd when the crystal starts pulsing and glowing with light in response the my words and grows warm in my hands. At this point I knew I had found, or I guess I should say that it found me. But what ever this crystal was it was special I could tell that at lest.
I quickly collected my things from the garden and headed back to the Den retiring to the library. I began to pick my way threw the many books I have collected over the years looking for anything I could find of the crystal ball. but unfortunately for all of my pains and near digging all night the only thing I could find in reference of such crystals was a few bits and pieces speaking of a Goblin king of some sort. I feel I will have to do much more digging to find anything out about this pretty bobble, but for now I see almost possessed to keep it close at hand and safe from harm. Hopefully soon I will find more information on this lovely little jewel. "
