Welcome to the digital world. As one might expect of a newcomer, you're probably a bit lost. Just read information screens as they come up, pay attention to the news and events, they'll be changing quite often. As far as obtaining your own digital companion? Summary:
So after the first two series of digimon (the ones you saw on TV n such) several generations had passed in the real world. About 5 or so. Enough that the original digimon were forgotten about.

In that time, as we know, the digiworld moves much much faster. so it's been a really long time. XD

And over that time the data and vaccine thought that the virus types might become like the original evil villains seen. Like devimon and etemon and whatever else.

So they started deleting them over the years, nearly eleminating them all. And so the virus types looked for saviours like the ones they had heard about from the history of so long ago... And called their own digidestoned to save them.

And then this is where you come in, in which you'll be greeted by one of the survivors and introduced to your fresh. :3

Story Version:
The digiworld had long ago fallen into darkness, only to be brought back into the light. The battle of the brave children and digimon fell into legend, passed along through the ages that passed in difference between this world and the real world.

As that time passed, ideas sprung forth... The world became seperated. Data and Vaccine started to suspect all Virus for the evil actions those of the past had commited. As this rumor spread, a war started. Digimon against digimon... The data and Vaccine rose against the virus to prevent another dark age.

The virus were overcome in the onslaught of their kind, outnumbered they were deleted into near extinction, none allowed to go past their fresh forms in fear of their loss of life. And as the Virus became weak and non existant, the Data and Vaccine became strong, growing in power as each virus was deleted.

And the digiworld was met with yet another dark age in their attempts to prevent one.

There were survivors though... Small groups that fell into hiding. They formed together, drew back on the legends of the children that had saved their world before... Praying for their own saviors, they waited for the longest time.

Until...

"Theresss sssomething there...." scales shifted against dirt, slitted eyes moving towards the sky.

"Do you think...?" Another followed the same path, letting it's words hang at the end in assumption it would be understood.

It was. "Maybe..." A bit of hope twined around the words of the first... "Quickly." She slithered forth "We must greet them before our enimiesss do."

"What about their partner...? Their bond?" the second followed, giving a hesitant glance around the area. Cautious was the only way to survive here.

"Their bonds will chossse them... But they will be powerlessss without the child."

"True..."

There was a moment of silence, only interupted with the chirp of birds.

"Go! Now!" The first snapped, darting forwards towards the first speck of hope that had come from the heavens of their world.

The second took off int he other direction, for the next they had seen.

The race was on.

6. Do NOT ask us when things will be done. It is one of the most annoying things ever. We'll get to it when we get to it.

9. Send trades RIGHT AFTER you win ANYTHING.
10. There is a limit of one digimon per person, except maybe in a rare case someone RPs exceptionally for a long while.. But thats a case by case basis.
11. Mules are allowed however you must state what your real name is somewhere when buying.
12. Co-owning isn't allowed.
13. Break the rules and you are subject to whatever punishment we see fit at the time. =D
14. When you win trades and information go to the mule, unless otherwise stated.
((Pending))15. If you have one you don't want you can get rid of it and get greylisted for the next 5 sales. When thats over you can again join the shop fun.
16. If i find out you left gaia, and didn't give us any notice. Then you will be BLACKLISTED if you ever may return. Why? Because if you don't take the time to clean up a few things and say "hey i'm leaving" it's irrisponcible, and alot of work to us.

1. Rping is required. We work hard to make it systematic and things like that so be respectful and RP.
2. No godmoding, ect., ect.
3. Fights will b eregulated by a fighting system and one of our RP mods. Breaking the rules will likely get you blacklisted >> So read everything double check and ask questions if you're unsure. No character deaths unless authorized by the shop.
4. Try to do decent posts. If your in the main thread doing random ooc chat is fine (ex: Name:*laughs*) But for guild RP please be literate. ^_^
5. If you don't RP you'll be given SIX whole months.(Thats half a year people) Then you will be sent a warning, You'll then have 7 days to go post your a** off. Also any Rp requirements you've done for that stage will be voided, and just not count towards anything. :3
6. Be mindful that some people have weak stomachs... Maybe put a warning at the top of your RP or if you're in the main thread chatting stick it in white or something. :3
7. While we can't resell your customs we can write them off as dead or whatever we see fit for writing you out of RP ICly if you have ot leave or don't keep up with the rules.
8. There are ways AROUND the RP required, however those are unset right now. :3 just know it'll cost a pretty penny.
9. Okay i actually heard about someone doing this. XD NO RPING YOUR DIGIMON AT AN OLDER STAGE. I understand OOC stuff perfectly fine. XD that's all good, but actually going out and developing character somewhere else at an older stage WILL get you blacklisted. Why? Cause it hasn't grown yet. XD Even if we're eons behind, it hasn't, deal with it.
10. I didn't make this obvious enough in rule four. XD Only RP in the guild. OOC banter is allowed here, but real Rping in the guild please :3

Q: Lets start with the basics.. How much?
A: Prices will vary on complications, popularity, ect. Flatsales will start at 11k. ((This gives you both digimon and digidestoned art, 5k for each artist. and 1k for the manager ))

Q: What happend with the other digimon seasons?
A: 03 and 04 are being excluded from our plot, for various reasons. However 01 and 02 have both long ago happend. And the events over time have become simpyl history. Forgotten in the real world, and written in books in the digiworld. :3

Q: How do I get to Ultimate stage?
A: If we see you RPing alot, hanging around the shop, and generally being active we might grant you a chance to get a crest for that stage. :3 It's an extra stage though, and given out on a case by case basis.

Q: What about Warp/Armor/DNA/Matrix/Dark digivolutions?
A: We're excluding these for the artist's sakes. XD

Q: Why's my digivice a different color?
A: They're colored as to how you received the digimon. (Custom, pettrade, flat, raffle, ect) It's mostly to spiffy up the cert. XD

Q: Do i need to have watched the series to get one of these?
A: Nope! We're makign everything your digimon would know avalable through "history books" and anythign else will not be required for this setting. :3

Q: So are we like.. in Gaia or what?
A: No this is a real world setting, in which is overlapped by the digital world.

Q: Wait so my character can't be a cat/demon/werewolf/vampire/whatever?
A: Nope. Your character must be human.

Q: How old does my character have to be?
A:preferably preteen age (9-13) Though teens will be allowed (13-16) and on rare cases young adults (16-19) and children (5-8 )

Q: Why can I not RP in X yet?
A: Because it hasn't been "discovered" In order for an area to be discovered

Q: What time is the RP set in?
A: it's set in real time. So a day in reality would be a day in this RP. However theres loopholes if you want the RP to have happend that morning, but you can only get on that night. Time warps due to the fact you had to pause the RP for whatever reason. Things like that.

Q: So what's my character doing when I'm not able to get on and RP?
A: These things are up to you. They could be travling, camping, training, anything simple you want to fill in the gap. :3

Q: Are you going to use my chracter in the FanManga?
A: No. Arafel has enough characters in that thing as it is. XD <3

Q: Why arn't there any previews for the flatsale?
A: Because the digimon is made to fit your character.

Q: What does that mean?
A: Our prompts will be based around your digidestined. And just like in the series, you won't get to chose your digimon! Your digimon will chose you. :3

Q: So i don't get any say in it at all?
A: Well yes and no. XD You do get to give us some guidelines. Like say you have a female character whom is scared of snakes but loves spiders and is a slob. You could ask us to give her a digimon to change those charactaristics (We'd pull out a snake bent on cleanliness) or something to fit well with them. (In which we'd give her a spider that is equally slobby) You can also chose the digimon's gender. :3

Q: What if i have an idea i really really want?!
A: Customs and pettrades my good friend. There will be cheap customs too through idea contests and whatnot (I suggest making a quest thread)

Q: I want a digimon thats from the show! (Patamon, gatomon, agumon ect)
A: Again customs and pettrades will allow this. Though we really want to stay away from it, t's more fun to have your own made up one than remake somethign else. X3

Q: Why can't I have a data or vaccine digimon?
A: Because by the plots standards only virus digimon are getting the digidestoned. :3

Q: Where do you get wild digimon?
A: Wild digimon are only given out to staff and RP managers.

Q: Can my digimon Breed?
A: We'll see. There'll b emore info on this later. But right now they're too busy trying not to get deleted to worry about that stuff. XD

Q: Can my kid breed?
A: No. Most of the characters will be very young... However if you can talk us all into why and how and whatnot we may make an exception. :3 Theres no way we can stop two 19 year olds from hooking up and accidentlaly getting pregnant. XD

Q: Lyk OMG yaoi/yuri!! MPREG!
A: No on this one folks. Can't stop your character's preferences, but theres no techknowlagy in this setting that would be able to produce children from two same sex couples. XD

Q: When will you have a sale next?
A: We try to have sales one to two times a month. no more than two. :3

Q: What's this about goupings?
A: Every 7-8 children will make a group, and work together as a team. Then, another set of children will start up somewhere else in the digiworld.

Q: But I want to be ina group with my friend. D:
A: Eh sorry. you'll have to stick with what you ended up with until we can ICly work your two groups meeting, perhaps then they could swap someone or something. XD We'll work it out then.

Q:Whos running all this?
A: Check out the staff section for who did what. :3

Q: Oh cool you have a battle system set up?
A: We're working on it. :B It'll be the next thing up after the frontpage. <3

Q: What do i get when buying one of these?
A: Art of your human character, along with "growing" stages of your digimon. Fresh, Baby, Rookie and Champion. Your cert will show all 4 pictures, and a blank spot should you ever get the extra stage. Your digimon will stay in rookie stage(once it gets there)
So thats a total of 5-6 unique peices of art. :3

Q:How much time would it take to get from one end of the island tot he other?
A: A week at the least. :3 2weeks probably depending on how much they stopped, how many detours, fights ect they had to make.

Q: Is it possible to have a dark/viral version of an otherwise data/vaccine digimon?
A: If you mean like black greymon or black gatomon, then yes. :3

Q: is it possible to have a viral digimon evolve to a non-viral form?
A: I think as long as it's rookie stage is viral then it should be okay. I'll have to ask everyone else though XD

_Events Thread_

There are two types of Flatsale, speed and prompt. This shop will consist majoly of prompt flatsales.

The prompt flatsale will give you a form and a prompt. The prompt will be a scenerio, one that likely won't actually happen in the RP. Then you'll write a story based off that.

The prompt will show us your character and their personality, and whatever information we got from the form on their looks and habits ectect. You give us the whole human character. And then, if you win, we make up a digimon to fit that character! now there are other ways to know what digimon you're getting ahead of time, but for flats this will be a rare case. :3

Those rare cases will consist of a premade digidestoned character, and will show what digimon they'll be getting. Then, whoever matches the premade personality best will win it. :3

Raffles are rather simple things, prizes will vary from things like a flatsale, or full customs, and whatever else we feel like. Raffles are cheap and no thought is required from us. Which is why we do them. XD Tickets will be given out in various ways, and then gaia's random number will be used to declayre a winner. :3

Auctions will often be for customs, in which you'll chose both the child and the digimon. It's a rather simple concept.. Whoever bids the most gets it. XD

The digidestoned are children from a real world setting. Normally ages 9-13. Uncommon ages are 13-16 and rare ages are 5-8, and 16-19. (Uncommon and rare can be gotten normally, but will be judged harder than normal. And we reccomend just sticking to the normal age unless you have a really cool idea and reason suches.)

All digidestoned are human, but can be any "race" Such as caucasion, asian, african american, african.. whatever. They can come from anywhere in the world.

The digidestoned will be brought into the digiworld through digivices (like in season one for those of you that have seen it) And will find a digivice somewhere. Then, when they touch it, it will rip them out of the real world and into the digiworld. There is no way back(unless we whip out a plot on a character, but you won't be able to say "oh pick me." or anything.) If they were carryign a backpack or something that will come with them. (Please don't make it so your character is the got-it-all camper person though, that makes it kinda boring. XD)

Once in the new world, the children will be greeted by a wild digimon, and then snuck to meet their "bonded digimon". Digimon and child will be connected in a few ways... Mostly seen is when a child has a very strong emotion the digimon will pick up on it. (Somewhat like a pet might) And this may invoke a digivolution.

The digidestoned will likely end up in groups of 7-8. Only this many will be placed in one zone together. :3 though you MAY run into another group somewhere along the line, depending on how travle goes.

Your digidestoned will be drawn as the common waist up shot, maybe hips or so even. And willb e shown in the lower right hand corner of the cert. Along with a few stats. :3

Digimon are the inhabitants of the digital world (a world ajacent to ours) They have their own cultures and releigions, types... everything is about the same as our world except for the things like magical powers, evolving, and strange combinations. (Like a walking candle) Personalities vary from each to each, even if they look the same or don't.

Digitama are the "egg" form of digimon. As such they are defenceless, can't talk or do anything. While you shouldn't have to run into this form, the digimon are fresh when they meet their child, they may still exhaust themselves too much and revert back to an egg stage. Or if they are deleted will return to this... However, if they're deleted then the egg will be sent somewhere else in the digiworld, andother consiquences will arise.

The fresh is a just born digimon. Very useless little jelly like creatures, they fit in the palm of your hand. They can not speak other than a few baby-like noises, and if they end up having to fight all they can do is blow very weak bubbles which will probably only hurt(barely) other fresh or baby digimon, and children.
All in all they're just like babies, they get scared easy, cry, eat, all that fun stuff.

Baby is the next stage, these digimon are slightly bigger.. about the size of a kitten or puppy. But they are equally inadiquate at fighting. They too blow bubbles that can barely hurt something, though much more powerful than a fresh's. These can talk normally, perhaps with a bit of a lisp or something but nothing too bad.

This is the stage your digimon will normally settle into. They vary in sizes generally no bigger/taller than one's hip. They speak perfectly now, and vary in intellegence, strength, and personality. They'll still depend on their child for love and protection though.
This is the stage where their fighting skills become perfected. They each have a unique attack to them, and can fight. Even fighting Champion types if they can pull out an advantage. (Such as ground advantages, or team efforts, ectect)

It's a rare case when a digimon can stay in Champion, for it takes ALOT of energy and effort. Normally, they simply go to this stage when it is needed in a fight and then revert back to their rookie form. Sometimes, a digimon can become so advanced in their skill that they will be able to stay in champion form. However this form must be reletivly small (Example:gatomon)
They'll have a new attack or two in this stage, and will fight extreemly well. Not too much can stand up to a champion.

    Hatching Requirement: In order for your digi-egg to hatch you must have spent a decent amount of time interacting with it. This means caring for it, allowing it to become accustomed to your presence and unique feel. Interaction at this stage is critical! It can influence how your monster emerges.
    (If requirements are met, the egg will hatch within a week minimum. Inactivity results in a longer period of time for hatching.)

      Baby Stage: This stage requires more interaction. At this stage your digimon is heavily reliant on you and will depend on you to keep it healthy and happy. If you've managed to care for your digimon in this stage for a week in real-time, your digimon is healthy and content, then you will be given a special task that is to be completed with your digimon. If you manage to complete this task, your digimon will gain experience and level.
      (One week bare minimum time. Time is influenced by availability of the artist and activity)_
